I agree with your points except for 6 and parts of 8. Isolationism doesn't help anyone. Countries "oceans away" commit genocide and slavery with impunity. Rather than turning a blind eye, we need effective, nonviolent ways to stop and prevent genocide and slavery. Our government routinely pathologizes the enemy du jour. He is mentally ill, insane, a narcissist, etc. The Left does this as well, calling Trump and his supporters stupid, uneducated, and mentally ill. "But Mom, they started it," is no excuse.

The rally organizers shot themselves in the foot by inviting a convicted pedophile to speak.1 No thanks. CODEPINK dropped out due to an anti-trans, anti-gay, anti-women speaker, according to Media Benjamin. Then there are the national socialists ie, neo-Nazis. They are more ant- Ukraine and anti-government than anti-war. 2

Perhaps we who want peace should tell Russia to stop invading its neighbors. Can we think of nonviolent ways to get Russia out of Ukraine? We need to get creative!
